“Continuum looks at the transitional flow between different pattern configurations through form, light and shadow. At opposite ends, the shapes are perceptibly different, but when adjacent in a continuous sequence, they become more difficult to distinguish from one another. Being able to view the different arrangements in only a transient way becomes interesting in its own right.”

Sawdust is the work of London based duo Rob Gonzalez and Jonathan Quainton. We have been working together since 2006.
With a particular interest in the atmospheric and enigmatic, our work explores ideas associated with ambience, emotion, future, tension, light, shadow, geometry, letterforms and sound. Ethereal narratives and aesthetic exploration are recurring themes in our works.
Commercially we have created imagery, typography, motion and identity work for clients including; WIRED, Apple, Netflix, Nike, NASA, The New York Times, Microsoft, Adidas, Converse, Audi, Coca-Cola, Reebok, National Geographic.
